Invisalign is a very straight forward method for straightening teeth without the need for metal wires or brackets. It is as simple as taking very accurate impressions. They are sent to invisalign and scanned into a computer. The computer makes a series of clear mouthpieces, each one being slightly different so that they move the teeth as they are changed out. Short Term Orthodontics:

Short term orthodontics is for those patients who want to achieve certain cosmetic orthodontic results, but dont want to spend the amount of time that it would take with traditional braces. We use clear braces and tooth colored wires to give a very pleasing cosmetic appearance with the braces on. We use techniques that can shorten the treatment time to as little as six months, rather than years. This is an excellent and affordable orthodontic treatment for those patients who have always wanted to straighten their teeth but were avoiding the silver brackets.
Traditional Braces:
Traditional Braces are the brackets and wires used to straighten teeth that most people associate with orthodontics. We typically perform this treatment on our younger patients to straighten their teeth and improve the bite.
Interceptive Orthodontics:

Early interceptive orthodontic treatment allows us to treat orthodontic problems before the eruption of all of the permanent teeth, or when there are few permanent teeth present. Our goal is to guide the growth of the upper and or lower jaw to make ehough space for the eruption of all the permanent teeth. We feel that children should be evaluated by the age of four to see if there is a bone problem (orthopedic) or a tooth problem (orthodontic).
If the patient has a problem such as the upper jaw being too narrow, or an underdeveloped lower jaw, this will require a special appliance called a functional appliance to correct the problem. Minor tooth crowding can also be corrected early on in some instances with these appliances.
