For our patients of any age that have fear or anxiety when having dental treatment we do have several methods we can use to make your visit more comfortable such as Nitrous Oxide and Oral Sedation. Nitrous Oxide (or laughing gas) is an easy way to reduce anxiety just by breathing in the gas. When we need a higher level of anxiety reduction, we can offer Sedation Dentistry.

Sedation dentistry allows high anxiety dental patients to have their dental treatment done in a calm relaxed state without pain. We have special training to administer a tiny pill called Halcion which, when combined with laughing gas allows fearful patients to be so relaxed that they are almost asleep during their dental appointment. It is also an excellent option for patients with severe gag reflex and other more specific dental fears.
